* Quotation: An exact repetition of words.
When quoting make sure that what you copy is word for
word.

should go in quotes.
* Paraphrase - A restatement of a passage into your own
words.
Taking notes on a paragraph or a few paragraphs and write them in your own
words.
* Summary: A brief restatement of major point or
facts of a larger portion of writing.
Taking notes in our own words on the entire
article giving main ideas.
