After reviewing Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and Downing's  eight On Course strategies, students wrote down traits that contribute to their success while listening to a Jim Brickman CD.

 

Next we selected players for our Web of Success.

*  two recorders
* one photographer
* and the rest of the class was divided in two equal teams.

 

Rules for the game are as follows:

  • Each student holding the ball of yarn states a quality or activity that contributes to his success.
  • After calling the trait he holds onto the yarn and throws the ball to  another student.
  • This student calls out a quality and quickly throws the ball to another student....
  • When I call time, the team with the most intricate web wins!
