1. Try to go to bed and wake up around the same time everyday. At least

I found that the five best ways to manage my time were to:

1. Make a daily schedule for yourself the day before and try to stick with it as best as you can.

2. Make sure you don't spend to much time on one thing. Try to space things out evenly, so you will feel like you are doing something all the time.

3. Write out a list of things that you would want to accomplish for that day, and make sure they were accomplished in a reasonable amount of time.

4. Be focused on what need to be done for the day.

5. Make sure that there are enough hours involved in resting and personal time, so you're not to tired to accomplish your goals.   Emelie

TIME MANAGEMENT TIPS
1. MAKE A SCHEDULE AND STICK TO IT!
2. WHEN MAKING A SCHEDULE GIVE SOME EXTRA TIME FOR EMERGENCIES.
3. IF YOU HAVE ERRANDS TO DO AND SOME ARE ACROSS TOWN DO THEM AT ONCE TO
SAVE TIME AND AVOID GOING ACROSS TOWN 2 TIMES IN 1 DAY.
4. AVOID UNNECESSARY STOPS OR EVENTS.
5. TRY TO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR TIME SO YOU CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE IT TO THE
BEST OF YOUR ABILITY.  Joe

My five best tips for time management are the following.

Keep a schedule with a planner so you don't forget important appointments.
Make sure you do your most important tasks first like homework, and job
related tasks.

Don't try to tackle everything at once.

If you can, break tasks into small, manageable chunks.

Make sure your schedule isn't so full that you have no extra time. Something unexpected may occur  that you have to attend to.

Make sure you have some time for leisure during the day to break up the monotony.

What is it, how can it help me, and why do I need it?
Time management is just what it sounds like its learning to control your
time to make it work for you and, know where your time goes to make the most
of it. It helps you achieve goals by showing you what you have done and what
you need to get there and how to get where you need to be to get it all
done.
How Can it help me? It can help you in a lot of ways 1 if you make a
date-book or planner and set daily, weekly, and monthly goals, not only will
you be able to see where all your time goes but, it will help you see where
you spend most of your time and, help you realize where you may want to
spend more or less time to help improve your life. Once you make a date-book
or planner the next step that will help you greatly will be to start
prioritizing your goals from the MUST get done to the well it NEEDS to be
done but isn’t MANDATORY to well I would LIKE to do this but I don’t really
HAVE to. It helps when you can plan downtime for relaxing otherwise you will
burn out and be to tired to really do much of anything which really isn’t
good and can lead to bad health physically and mentally.

Another key issue  with time management is when things come up that you have no control over  you will be able to work around that situation and keep things going as
smoothly as possible until the emergency or crisis is over which in return
will make things less stressful then they would have been. One main thing
that usually hurts peoples control of time and there life is they
procrastinate about a lot of things if not everything, putting things off to
the last minute is a BAD habit and one I sadly learned the hard way. I was
always putting things off till the last minute and because of that I just
barely graduated high school with the rest of my senior class, thankfully I
was able to just make it and have learned a valuable lesson from that. A few
more things that can be traps and kill your time is "saying yes to something
you know you don’t really have time for, working or studying when you have
the least amount of energy will only take more time to get the job done then
it would have if you did it when you are better energized or awake, working
or studying in a distracting area, not thinking ahead will always catch up
to you when least expect it, I have done many a projects on the night before
they were do and got a lower grade then I know I was capable of getting
because I put it off for so long. Last of all learn to balance work with
friends, family fun and enjoyment. What fun is life if all you ever do is
work?
You Need time management to help make the most out of life and to help you
reach your goals or before you know it your in your 60’s and cant recall the
last time you had any fun or even if you had time to talk to friends or even
have friends or worst of all by not planning how you use your time your
goals slipped away without you really knowing it and you will regret it
later. So please start now and you will see how much better life can be if
you just plan how to use your time instead of letting IT control you!

Joe
