My Mandala

I chose the little girl in my mandala to remind me to release that carefree, child-like spirit that is deep inside me. She represents the innocence of life. The stress of life can sometimes take away the innocent, carefree feeling that we had as a young child.
She represents joy in her smile because she is doing what she likes, dancing.
The stars represent that there is no limit to where she fan go and dance.
This picture motivates me to do the same in my life with my goals and dreams.
The sky is my limit for my dance with life.
I chose a gold pen to represent the richness of the words I wrote around my circle.
I chose ivory-colored paper to signify the softness that I should have in life.
This mandala is a visual affirmation I feel motivated to be in the spirit of life. It reminds me to be myself and enjoy what is all around me.
The personal characteristics that are represented for my personal self are to be more loving, forgiving, and to honor myself. I am going to think and feel positive about who I am and where I am going. I am going to reach for the stars. I chose this way to nurture myself because it is what I need most to do in my life to be the best I can be.

The First Hispanic Baptist Church is where I am a member. I think that everything that I learned in this course I can apply in church. We, as Christians, are good, well-behaved human beings. We show love, kindness. We are friendly, we are helpful, we listen to people's problems and situations. We are people that want to succeed. We have dreams and goals as a church that we want to accomplish. There are certain ways to go about it. We have to accept personal responsibility for our actions and our decisions. We also have to manage our time and our activities. The more important things get done first; we don't wait until they are urgent. Our dreams and goals give us motivation. We also encourage each other to strive for more and to do the best. That's how we show we are independent. We seek for help. We do not try to do things on our own because two, three, four, five and more people work better and faster than one alone. Another way that I use what I learned in this book is by always acting as a creator and not as a victim. We do not go around blaming others. As a Body of Christ, we try to come up with the best results for situations. We are always looking for the positive side of things, to avoid having bad circumstances.
This book  has taught me a lot. I will continue to use everything that I learned because it really helps people to succeed in life and in college. being positive and making wise choices will lead you to success.

The drawings represent me and the people that are really close to me. I have things that have to do with nurses because that is what I want to do when I get older.  I wrote a bunch of qualities about me that I have come up with that I have. These qualities will help me live my dream as I get older.
