Assignments that you submit should contain the above heading & look  like the above.

1. Number all pages on the top right corner, including page 1.
2. Margins should be about one inch all around – and no more than 1 ½ inches.
3. Your name, my name, the course # , & the date go on the front page on the top left.
4. In your introductory paragraph, type the thesis statement & supporting topics in bold print.
   In five paragraph essays, I prefer that the three supporting topics be written as part of the last sentence in the introduction.
5. Each paragraph in your essay must contain a topic sentence. This must be typed in bold print.
6. Type a "word count" at the end of the essay.
7. For the size print, I prefer 10pt.
8. For spacing, I prefer single spacing with double spacing between paragraphs.

You will notice that rules 1, 2, and 3 follow the MLA regulations. The additional rules are my personal preferences.
